The Glow in the Dark Run and Glide

The Glow in the Dark Run and Glide is a fun run and skate under the lights through the streets of Los Alamitos. Participants will have the option to either run/walk or use roller skates. The Glow in the Dark Run and Glide will start at 7:30 pm. Participants will a 1-mile course. These events are open to all ages and abilities.

Registration

Registration and bib pick-up will be on Friday, September 15 at the 10911 Oak Street, Los Alamitos 4:00pm- 7:00pm or on Saturday, Septemebr 16 on the corner of Pine St and Florista St.

We recommend arriving at least 1 hour early to park, pick up the packet and line up for the race.

If you are not already registered for the Glow Run arrive at least 1 hour and a half (1 hour 30 min) early to park and register.

Parents are allowed to run alongside their young child, however, you must start in the back of the race to avoid disrupting other participants.

It is highly encouraged to register at the discounted family rate so that all members of the family will receive a race shirt, bib, and finisher medal.

Please allow for plenty of room for children running without a parent and it is suggested to line up behind those children along with families

with strollers. Parents/guardians who are not registered are required to sign a waiver and do not receive a shirt or medal.

Remind all those in your family that this is a NON-COMPETITIVE race and for safety of all participants,

to take it nice and easy at the start of the race to not cause injury to others.

GLOW IN THE DARK THEME COSTUME CONTEST!

This year we are challenging all participating individuals to dress up in their best Glow in the Dark theme costume!

Help us light up the course with your own bright and creative flair! Please keep in mind this is a family-friendly

event and costume pieces should be appropriate and attached to the participant to avoid trip hazards of objects on the course.

Prizes will be awarded according to the categories listed below. Must be present at the time of judging 7:15 pm.

Any registered individual can participate. Please have your race bib on.
